Monday Mission.

Sorry for no post after I said I would yesterday, as soon as I posted it I put my pads on and it got all wet out side so nothing happened. Bummer. Got in from work today early ish with still some light in the sky and a moist floor so I took the opportunity to explore and ride some street. I found a couple of flat blocks not to far away which with abit TLC and wax would slide rather well. I also found in a rather close location some sweet benches that had afew lines and stuff that could be had however I am unsure on how much of a bust they would be. After riding through a questionable estate I found an amazing hand rail, small about 2 bikes long 6 or 8 stairs. It looks a peach and it has fences down bother sides of the stairs to hope over into a grass bank. Will have to send it I think, perfect for me I feel (not in the way them blue rails next to Fusion call center are for Pid though.)After abit more a mooch I came across a flat big of concrete into a grass bank with a little curb gap thing at the top which looked like it could be fun when the grass is dry to stunt into. After that I got abit lost and came across a rather sweet roundabout underpass with banks and a possible gap. Cobbles at the top stick up which limits a potential lethal wall ride and making the spot like something off skate but it's still canny good. Anyway that was one little loop around the area and there is plenty more exploration to be done and I shall let you know and if you are lucky take you to all of these new spots. Who knows, if I can find some mates there might be some on the edits!

I have a house! Not much in the way of riding this week, well not until I've written this then I am off out to hopefully get a photo for you lot. The lack of riding is due to me getting a really nice room and a wicked house in Turnpike Lane. Big room and a back yard so riding will be happening so get your selves down to the big smoke and help me make some edits and show the south how we northern people ride street. Sketchy and hard the way it should be! Anyway how that I have a pad you are all welcome any time so just drop me a holla when you are coming down and I'll get the tins in. House mates are all cool and there is loads of place to sleep and keep bikes safe. I might hit you with another update depending on how riding goes and you will have a photo of something tonight. Hope everyone is keeping well and I am really looking forward to my return home at the end of next month for some good old drunken fun.

I am so so sorry for the major slackness over the last month or so. Finally moved (well half moved) to London and started my new job which so far looks like it's going to be sweet. As most of you know I tried to do this last year but ended up coming back home to do an MSc and fuck my life up as much as I could by allowing my self to be sucked into a fucking horrible depressing life and becoming a total cunt! As you might have seen I try not to use to much bad language in this but that is what I became. I let myself be turned into some one who I always hated without even putting up any sort of fight or trying to save the only thing that has ever truly mattered to me. It would be easy to blame it all on other people but the truth is it was my fault, I was a weak excuse of a human and I hated every single part of the who fucking episode which has left me fucked and not properly happy or the really Krissy Shee for the past year and fuck knows how much longer to come. The only thing to keep me going was BMX and some good friends. I just want to say think you to you all, you know who you are and I wish I listened to you all earlier instead of going into self destruct with "that". If it wasn't for you all and the little 20" wheels I would no doubt be in a much worse situation that I am now. This is not only a thank you be an apology for it all. I fucked up big time and regret every second of it, I hurt a lot of people and I know you were all disappointed with me but I hope most of you can see that the proper Krissy Shee is almost back together with just the one major piece still missing. I love you all.

Right back on with the normal carry on. As I said I have started my new job and contrary to any rumors going around I do not have a mustache, stick on or other wise and I am not drinking cocktails or wearing sparkly jump suites. I rode the little skate lite park I have talked about before on my way back from work on Tuesday which was sweet as it was the first time I have been out since moving. The mini ramp there is rather good although it is a bit wide for it's size. Yesterday was really sunny so I went to a little park around the corner from where I am staying which was canny for the odd little set up it is.

The 1/4s are a bit mellow and the grinds are only metal on one side but the concrete still slides ok on the old smith. Met a couple of people there, one fella who had a really nice turn down on him and they all had pegs which was nice to see. With it only being a little park I only spent an hour there before heading back to base to work out the rout to Camden skatepark which looked rather sweet. It's just one long road all the way to it from Rosies so I thought I would just mooch it. Only took half an hour to ride there which wasn't to bad. When I got there it was rather busy but not as snakey as one might imagine. It's a really good park however the riders were not as friendly as up north (as in North London). Was more of an Exi vibe about the place. The street section was ok but there was a distinct lack of grinds and pegs in the place but the nice banks and sort of Temple Park bank things down one side where enough for a man of my streetness!! Haha. The bowl in that place is amazing as you can see and although I can't really ride that type of thing, carving around and jumping the hips was more than enough fun for me. The section at the top which is like a mini was the perfect steepness and was a really really nice ride.

If the place was a bit quieter it would be a really good session and I might get myself along to the Wednesday night session that goes on and try and make some friends and maybe next time I can have some pictures of riding again and not just empty parks stolen off google and I have no mates to take pictures of. Anyway I hope I see some of you soon and I promise to be less slack even though I don't think I'll have any pictures for awhile but I will still keep on the updates.

Friday Photo Seaburn Jam special.

Well I know it was almost a week ago and really this should have been up at the start of the week but this is the last week of my MSc and so I am mega busy hence no edit yet. The monthly edit is done but I still haven't looked at any of the jam footage never mind started to sort it or think about what to do with it. As you all know I will be sickly busy for at least another 2 or 3 weeks so this months edit and photos might be abit slack but I promise to do my best to get at least some shit sorted. Any way the jam was amazing, stunts went down the best of which I can remember would be Marc Bell hopping on the back of the block 3 onto the lower part and doing a slingger off. Dyno done a huge aly-oop whip on the 1/4er and a sweet hanger or over pedal crooks thing and low speed, Fido ripping the mini a new one with all sorts of crazy maneuvers, Sam Watson doing a sweet over pegs to hard way 180 on the new longer rail and late arrival Pete with a sweet 180 backwards crooks all of which got a beer or some sort of randomly collected items. Best trick I seen for the day was the NSF big gun Chris Souter with a huge curved wall ride to 180 and finishing off with a half cab bar spin. If you were there then you know how good it was if not you once again missed out on a good day of beer bikes and fun times. After the party came the after party back at the Shee house hold where all things considered the party went well and booze went inside me and the rest is a blur. Well I am very sorry that this is so late. Busy man at the moment trying to find a house in London and finish off my Uni work and sort the jam out! Sucks, nee time for stunts or photos or footage and I have to be in London at the end of the week again. Trying get get some footage to get an edit out there as well as the edit that will come from the Seaburn jam but I am seriously running out of time and I have shit to do. Not good, but I will get it done don't worry, I have till Tuesday. Anyway as far as BMX went last week for me I didn't involve more than Seaburn and a sweet night time town mission involving Doxys finest and Woods and Daws however the reall shit didn't go down untill D tweaked his foot and we hit up the less ridden spots of the city center. We hit up this forgoton gem, well it you can call it that after Rob did the only possible half decent thing possible on it on NSF. I did give it a little love with afew manouvers and I do think there is more to be had if I get back to get some footage before the end of the month but you'll have to wait and see I guess.

After a few missed Fridays we are back on track with this gem from the Billy lad from way back on Saturday giving me the rest of the week to fight the ever increasingly unpredictable weather and gather up some clips. Unlike last month filming is going well and I already have a fair few clips in the bag. In other news I will be moving to London in September and so I really don't know what is going to happen with the edits. I will still be shredding up the mean streets of the big smoke however I know no one down there so I'll be solo shit and the odd clip from people if they pop down or when I pop up. Going to try and convince these slackers to get footage and send it down to me but how successful that will be is yet to be seen. I am sure I'll still keep this thing rolling along nicely and I might even make some plans for next year so I can keep contact with you lovely northern folk while I am down south. Gonna have to get a copy of Fair Play and start studying Nang so I can fit in and get some mates. Anyway chin up people sure the nice weather will pro-vale soon and we can get back out for a late summer work out. VW fest this weekend so I'll get back on the record button on Monday. Mean while feast your eyes on this big lad from the Billy Lad.

Apparently the internet has quite reached Murton yet so I am very sorry for the lack of photo yesterday. Again it's been a strange week for the weather. Raining cat and dogs right now so today mission to start filming is gonna have to be under cover and I don't mean like Leonardo DiCaprio in The Departed. Had a little trip to the wasteland on Tuesday and had my self alittle stunt and a catch up with the good men of Newcastle but really apart from that there is little to report. Got my Notion T-shirt today with afew extras thrown in so thanks to Cleggy for that. Only real thing I can tell you is that Seaham skate park is open. It's not shit and if it was empty you could get a good little stunt on and there are afew lines kicking about if you want to get creative but please don't make any effort to go. By all means have a mooch up if you are in the area but that's it. However it was good enough for this photo of the week from a veteran of the sport. Blob with a front tire jam back in forward. Hope the weather sorts it self out for us all. Oh and get your self on Mexican Johns blog for some local news.

Here is number 6 for you all. So sorry about the quality still haven't got rid of all the technical issues which I am gutted about because I think this is the best edit so far. Few new faces in July which is lucky because the old hands have been slacking and or breaking bikes. Luckily some of the young guns stepped up there game and a couple of old friends get their riding heads back on and picked up where they left off last summer. Don't know how people can do that like, if I don't sling a B for a day I've basically lost them and end up back at square one. Hope you like the new edit which I honestly never thought would make the 2 minute mark never mind be as good as it is. Well in my opinion anyway. gonna make sure footage is gathered at a steady pace this month and not just a mad rush at the end like some sort of Uni assignment that has been forgot about. End of a sketchy week Friday Photo.

Well it's been a strange old week, the weather has been all over the place. You get up and it's bright and joyful then you get ready to ride and it rains so you sack it off and it gets nice and dry again so off out you go, get one clip then the sky darkens and it's time to make a quick get away only for the cycle to start all over again. Luckily between the darkening sky's and bright sun shine the camera has managed to leave it little red pouch and clock some quite good stuff, still not enough but one half decent days riding and we'll be there. I have started to put together the edit and am rather pleased with it apart from the major lack of quality due to further technical difficulties that come with a new computer. The good software I used to convert my clips is no more and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called and so what possibly is the best edit so far is going to look like it was filmed in a snow globe.
On another note there is some new art work for the top of the page done again by the wonderfully talented Rosie Upright. Thank you again for that Rosie much appreciated. Hope you like it. Check out her blog if you are that way inclined.
Anyway here is this weeks photo, sorry it's of me again but I was planning on doing a multiple photo update today but the sun has decided to do one and so photography and filming is going have to be put on hold. Last dash clip session tomorrow it is then. I hope to got it doesn't rain as I am still 35 seconds short. Fingers crossed.

Where has it gone? Posted it up last night and it has decided to do one just like the sun did this week. Not really got much footage this week due to adverse weather conditions however if you had some patients it was possible to have a good shred post 8pm a couple of nights this week which lucky I did. Managed to get 4 or 5 clips towards the edit but still nowhere near what I need so the back end of next week better be full of bangers or the edit is gonna be mega short and mega shit but still. Sorry I missed you on Friday, ended up going down the the King Far A Day jam on Friday night rather than Saturday as planned which was a very good move. Woke up Saturday morning to blazing sunshine and an amazing set up at the park, wall rides everywhere. The LS6 lads did really well. Me and Blob ripped it up and tested the wall ride and slung some bee's pre 9am. Earliest I've been on my bike in many a year. We then got some coffee and some breakfast from Leeds finest breakfasting establishment and did a little wander into Leeds for some shopping and to kill some time before the jam. Upon walking to the shopping district it began to rain and rain bad and so the only thing to do was go to the vans shop and spend some cash in the sale. When we got back the park was wet and nasty so we hit the beer. The place did dry up at about chinnese dentist so I put down the 40 and got out the stunt bike and had my self a little shred just to make myself feel better about my day. After a hour of power it was back to the beer in the sun leaving the riding to the big guns at the kicker. Seen a sick failed flip and Northen John sending it before getting more booze and chilling with old friends and some new ones. I then decided it would be a sweet idear to have a snooze before hitting up Leeds Leeds dirty Leeds club scene. Major mistake, snooze then party does not work so after a walk to the Dry Dock it was time to turn around and do more snoozing. Good times where had by all and we where all truly Kings For The Day.

And we are back online! Finally got my computer sorted and my first task was to get an edit made again. This thing is rushed and horrible with a crap song and Windows Movie Maker for Windows 7 is the worst thing ever. How can a new program be so much worse than the one it is replacing? Really sucks. I will get a few good photos for Fridays update since I have let you all down so badly the last two weeks. I also still haven't started filming for the new edit but I will get as much done as possible in the last two weeks as uni has been sick so far and job hunting and stuff and people going way next weekend to Bug jam and there is the King For A Day jam this weekend so I hope Sunday brings abit of hungover street riding and possible abit clippage for you. Sorry for rambling just trying to get my computer sorted the way I like it and looknig for some new editing software since my Move Maker days are numbered. Hope you like the edit and I promise next month will be good as long as people pull there fingers out and get shit done.

Thursday Scotland Trip Report.

I can only apologise for the slack behaviour this week. There was no photo last Friday as we had set off for a road trip north of the boarder and so far this week I have been busy sorting out uni and doing exams and shit I haven't really had a chance to get one here and tell you all about it.

The plan was devised late on Wednesday night in a drunken stooper that was the England win. Leave Friday afternoon once the grafters have finished graft and drive half way north and get some kip and save on a big drive on Saturday and start earlyish in the morning. On route we thought we would hit up Newbiggin by the sea to ride it's transitioned sea defences. After pulling into the car park of the stereotypical North East fishing village we where told by the Senior member of the crew that he had heard an urban legend that Newbiggin by the sea had had sand imported from beaches further down the coast to make there beach bigger. To do this of course they had to bury the promenade and the sea defences with it! So far so good. We still had a ride along the front and came across this rather nice stair set up.

Had it not been 8pm and we had not just got out of the rig shit might have gone down as they were a nice size and rather sweet with the little boost at the side which was abit righty friendly but still. Anyway nothing really got done apart from the odd boost and a hope up them without first checking them out, fortunately not resulting in a big o'l cobra bite. While heading back to the van we decided to have a quick look around the bend and found a taster of what we could have been riding if we had the time to dig through 200 tones of sand to reclaim the lost sea wall. As you can see these lost treasures would have had loads of potential in there day.

While I was trying to negotiate my way through rock pools and Newbiggins fine young adults in amongst the rock the Billy Lad was doing what he does best and slinging some bee's.

After a nice big shinner we packed up and moved out to our resting place for the night at Bambrough. We was planning on finding a campsite but after the late arrival and lack of them we decided to just park up and lob the tents on the sand. After scoping out the tide line for awhile we decided we would probably be ok to stick them up next to the rocks right below where we parked without getting soggy feet. Before we fired up the pink bucket of joy we had our selves a little mooch along the beach towards a white deer past a rather off seal that Skipsy took a fancy to. You have no idea how bad that thing smelt! Back up wind to Skipsy new lover for the night we set away pinky and cracked open the wine and beers and chilled on mother earths pre-made seats while we cooked up some gourmet burgers. Skipsy however being the new Ray Grils decided to go limpet hunting for his tea but after being put off by the green bubbles and sick taste he opted to dabble in the burgers with the rest of us.

Once we had our fill we went for a nice romantic walk along the beach towards the castle and came across two massive dice, which was nice.

We awoke in the morning to find that we may have slightly miss judged the level of the tide which had came to within 6ft of the back of my tent which was alittle but worrying. After knocking up some sausage sangers and black coffee on the beach we headed to the first proper stop of the trip, the new and highly recommended Edinburgh skate park.

Once we had a quick poo and wash in Ewan Mcgregor's favourite toilet we rolled into possible one of the best and busiest parks I have seen. The place was amazing and I recommend you go just not on a Saturday morning or afternoon or any point where children are not at school. After eyeing up a number of lines each to do for the edit we decided to just sack it off and go ride some street away from the play ground. After a massive loop of the historic city and finding out that some of the history had been either removed (RIP Shabaz) or fenced off we went back to a ledge we had seen earlier in the day and then onwards to our next resting spot, this time a proper campsite for a wesh and a good kip.

Once we found a place to stay we wacked the code into the Navman and headed for the site on a wildlife reserve only to be knocked back by a rather friendly scotish woman who kindly pointed us in the direction of a filed that the "lady in the kitchen" said people camped in all the time and that we could leave the rig in her car park which was nice. We loaded out gear onto out backs and hiked to the spot we where told. My word what a view. You could see right down to the Forth Road bridge in the distance and the rolling hills in front, couldn't have found a better spot to sleep after an amazing night sleeping on the sand. That night the men feasted. Honestly the now ex-pink bucket seen some serious action that night, meat on sticks, normal meat, steam cooked mange tout and baby corn, mushrooms and tomatos, chillies and some good dogs. The lads eat well and slept well that night I can tell you.
We awoke to the blazing sunshine and headed to Livingstone for tins of bean and sausages and a variety pack of eight. Once we entered the shit tip that was Livi where some plankys had clearly had a massive doo the night before we found that we are not cut out for its gnarlyness and after a short stunt we offskied to the more homely feel of Glasgow street. We rode for miles around the city and shit got done as you will see a sample of in the edit which will be up tomorrow for all to see. Sorry for rambeling on so long about nothing in particular, guess you kinda had to be there.

This week I seen the sickest rail I have seen sent, possibly ever. The Lad's still got it. Also this week I have slung plentifully barspins however I am not ready for the big one. As you all know, the sun has been shining all week so quite abit of riding has gone down however nothing has been captured on the trusty Samsung. Going to wait till next week before it comes out and hopefully clocks some good stuff. So there you have it really, nothing major has gone down apart from the opening line of this post. All the boys from the dark side came over on Wednesday and rode the splendors found within Roker park however with the Wold Cup going on who can resist a game of footy? Once Dawson and Brogan made sure the goal was up to scratch it was kick off.

Well I know technically it's Saturday but who cares. Just got in from riding not 10 minutes ago. Wicked night in the south, well Boro Plaza and Darlo. After a slow start I got my self sorted and got my shred on just as the dude came and kicked us out the Plaza. The place shuts at 8:30 now which really sucks as the sun didn't make it's way to bed till well past 10. Got to ride for free though. You win some you lose some. Dawson went off and sent some can't wicked shit tonight which you will all get to see in this months edit, the lad will not disappoint. Went to Darlo 1/4, the host of today's photo. Didn't arrive there until 9:20 but still got a full hours shred before the darkness took over and forced us to pack up and head to the centre of town for a pizza and a can. Proper nice chilled out summers night the way things should be, nee more of this rain thank you very much. Hope you like this weeks photo, same dude same trick but different spot.

Alreet people how's you all been keeping? Not sure if you have noticed or not but I have been missing for two photo Fridays and one edit. As much as I do try so very hard to keep this thing going I had better things to do, namely Primavera 2010 in the BMX Mecca that is Barcelona. As you can imagine it was truly amazing and it is only for such momentous occasions that I well let my concentration laps towards this bad boy. Here is last months edit, one minute shorter than I would have like for previous explained reasons. All will be back to normal on Friday and I am sorry for any inconvenience but I was having a better time.

Back on track this week with this beauty from Tuesday, nice and early in the week at my first of 2 visits to the wasteland. The sun this week has been like some sort of European shit man, been amazing. After being abit behind with footage this week has helped me gather afew more clips and did afew new stunts which is rather good in the heat. However I still feel that this will be a rather short edit as I will be in Spain for the last week of the month so possibly no photo Friday next week unless I can get on the net but it will not be BMX related I imagine. As this photo proves I managed to get an old face back on his little bike to show the world that he has still got it some where in that pile of rusty VWs. This big plant was followed up by some shandy's and a Black Wolves of Shadow Ride To Glory fame gig which was rather nice as we got to see old friends for the first time in awhile. As I type this the sun is shinning strongly on my back and I am almost ready to have a mooch down the park for abit stunt, abit booze and abit BBQ. Hope you all have a topper weekend, make the most of it while it is here, never know when it'll be gone and the good old English weather will return, as for now here is a man who need no introduction with a signature foot plant to fakie.

This week has had a lack of interesting riding, so much so I got really pissed off and went on a solo mission today to get some footage and a photo for you. Sick of riding Seaburn park, sick of having to think of new lines to do there which are still shit. Gonna be hard to get footage for this months edit since I am away this weekend and in Spain for the last week of the month so guess it's going to be short and have weak stunts but I don't care because that is how BMX has been this month. Still bag my self a few new tricks and bring back some of the old ones so it's not all doom and gloom. Dinosaur Jr and Built To Spill in Leeds tomorrow night so although there is no BMX this weekend it's going to be topper. Maybe that's what I need, a weekend off.

This week in BMX involved a really shit skate park, some trails, not one but two more flat tires bringing the total to 9 weeks and 10 flats, score. This week also involved the premier of a certain New Jersey companies new video kindly put on at the Tyne Bar by S&Ms tallest UK rider James Newrick. (Not sure if that is a true fact but I think it might be.) The video is awesome so go and get a copy from Notion Cleggies new shop. Right I must dash as Dawson is coming to get me to ride the Toon. Well yet another sun and full filled week passes. I think I can get used to this. Uni work was all done by Tuesday and so shred has been on all week. Started off with me a Limbs riding the Alex bridge banks for the first time in a while where the long legged mac daddy got his sling on. Tuesday saw a trip to see your old friend Simon who you will see in this weeks photo along with IRNBRUs chief of staff and Team 2 Sand Dune member Billy the Lad. Wednesday we the third time lucky trip to Whitlybay with the old fella where the sun was shining down and burning the back of out necks all day long. What a fun park that is, tight lines, steep quarters and difficult twists and turns. My kind of riding. Found some sweet runs which didn't make it onto this months edit as I have to many clips of me as well as to many clips over all. Even learnt a new stunt which will be popping up in the next month or two. Anyway as I said this week has been full of stunts and sun and it's been awesome and I hope there is allot more to come so the three Bs can truly start. Beers, BBQ and BMX.
The edit is all done and dusted and I think it's the best one yet however I am off to main land Europe this afternoon to see brightly coloured cars on which I might do a one off update on here for the people who might be interested.

Well another week goes by and it's another nice week. Last weekend saw the Leeds Jam and The Make prem which was awesome, do your self a a favour and buy it when it comes out. Mind blowing. Shit went down in Leeds as we decided to ride street and not hang around the park all day. Clocked some good footage for this months edit and for D'chums video. The week has seen little ride from me due to loads of uni work however the 2 times I have got out plenty of footage has been clocked and I have learnt 2 brand new stunts that I have never done before so I am very pleased. Tomorrow will see some brutal street action north of the Tyne and plenty of stunts court on camera for your enjoyment at the end of the month.
Anyway here is tonight photo of me being a park dog during on of my many recent mini ramp sessions.

Good morning people, how you all doing? Look at that shiny bastard out side, even a cloud of volcanic ash can't stop the sun shining down on our fair land way past seven pm. Due to this natural wonder of the sky's stunts have gone down all week and this weeks photo comes from the distant memory of Tuesday. Another thing that the sun has brought to us is the splendor that is Seaburn rail, it's like we have collected the letters to spell out G.R.I.N.D and jumped over the skateboarder and collected 20,000 points and it's been unlocked. It's been rideable for 4 days and it's already been shut down by Bill and Jake's excellent adventure last night which seen the park as busy as it's ever been with real people without their being a jam on.

In other good news I have added some axle extenders to my bike once again and have joined all this pegging action once again. Also in local news some kids at Temple park have removed a section of the fence to create a rather boosty jump box out the 1/4 and into the grass bank. I have only had a small shred but I can say without doubt it's a canny good addition and could lead to a rather interesting session.
And finally tomorrow sees the Hyde park jam and the long awaited The Make, Rain Dog premier in the good old party town of Leeds. The video looks mind blowingly good and it should be with the team they have. Should be an awesome day and night of stunts and watching stunts while falling over and grazing knees. Bring on the pint cans of Stella.

Better Late Than Never Monday Madness.

Good evening all, sorry for not up dating this bad lad on Friday but I was down in the capital doing abit stunt and abit chilling. Though that in stead of a photo, since I couldn't take one of myself, I thought I would do a little report of the 3 places I rode while down there.

After seeing the awesome Sick Of It All and AFI on the Tuesday night I thought that rather than just going mental in the house while Rosie was at work I thought I would have a little mooch up to an alright looking park that was not to far from the house. The mini ramp was canny, there was a nice drive way and it plentifully hips where more than any man needs to keep him busy on an afternoon however the gods of rain came and got me and the park session was rained off after about 30 minutes.

On Wednesday the sun was cracking the paving slabs and it was time to hit up a park I wanted to ride for quite awhile, Mile End. My word that park was good. Small but perfectly formed and amazingly set out. After a quick spy on Google Maps and working out that I could get the train to Liverpool Street my route was planned and I was off. It was a good 10/15 minutes ride to Mile End from Liverpool Street but simple enough to find. With it being the school holidays the place was canny packed but not overly. Was a canny good shred with many slingers but a bastard manual 180 did its best to spoil my day but I refused to let it get the better of me and had it before the day was out. Here is a little picture of the wonder that is Mile End skate park taken from the very good hip. If you can go to it, it's good.

On Thursday I made the long drive to the old-school madness that is Harrow Skate park. It was not for me at all, to hard to ride and not the place for a solo shred, maybe a full day with afew people it would be a canny fun, flowy park but solo, hungover and un-skilled in old school park riding it's not for you.

Anyways have a nice week and I have already got a photo for Friday and afew clips ready for the next edit.

Also if you can get to Leeds for The Make prem on Saturday it will be off the hook!

Afternoon people. Well this is the last photo for March and so we are one step closer to the summer sun. We had a small preview of what that might look like last week but it was not to last. This week we have reverted back the old English ways of rain and sea side fog, good job I have a light house to guide the bar spins into my right arm. This week has mainly involved small snippets of ride lasting no longer than 1 hour but at least they have been productive. Get abit footage this week and should get some more this weekend from some new faces as well as old. As some of you might have read over at NMB Seaburn is going to get shown whats up by them cats from the other side of the bridge so some clips should come out of that as well as loads for Dchums footager. Should be a good weekend if the weather holds out. As March leaves us I think it's about time the pegs returned, well that is if I get my hub guard sorted, then again I could always be a gay for another month till the sun comes back to stay for good.

If anyone knows where last weeks post has gone will you please give me a bell? After trying very hard to get a photo sorted and making sure I got it on here before going to the big smoke for the weekend it ends up going walk about? Fuck knows why, I can only apologise and put the photo back up for your enjoyment this week as well as a nice fresh one.

This week like the last two weeks has been full of constructive riding due to the nice weather and lighter nights. People have be waking up the old tricks from their winter beds and getting them ready for the coming months. A small crew of us had a little trip to Newcastle the other day and had our selves a little street for tea. Well that was after Dawsons had had his starter at Exi park. Same old same old wend down hitting up the normal jibby bits in and round the city centre. I still have no pegs and have enjoyed afew nice OTB sessions this week the last of which was just an hour or two ago. Tomorrow will be mainly spent gathering the rest of the footage needed for the edit and hopefully the weather will hold out and well get some canny clips. Also going to try and find something to convert my footage without compressing it to death as it has so far.

Everning all. Hope you all enjoyed Februarys edit earlyer this week. Done abit riding this week in the sunshine, same it's yet to warm up but at least its dry. Nothing to intresting has gone down really just the usual spots, linking a few new little lines now that the brain has thorwed out abit. Anyway it's beer o'clock and I'm off out. Here is the first of March's friday photos taken on the last day in February. This man seems to be coming a regular face on here, Granddad with a 1 footed x over the hip at Hyde park.

Here is what non of you have been waiting for, this month (well last months) edit. Mostly filmed on a damp Saturday on a little tour in land as we tried to avoid the snow once again. This time we have an extended cast and locations even going as far as the tropical paradise that is Leeds on the last possible day of filming. This time I managed to get enough footage to fulfill my 3 minute goal even though the quality is shit as always and we even have some phone footage in there to but that's what WeRideKidsBikes is all about, shady as fook. Sunday in Leeds.

Happy March to you all. Since I failed to get a photo on Friday due to a flatty and sick weather I though I'd do a little trip report for you from Sundays drive to Leeds.

After a few texts of Mr Skippsy during the week the plan had been hatched to hit up the Works on Sunday since the big man had to pick up a piece for his other love his 205 rally car. ( Some say he loves it more that his bike and judging on his riding and moaning on this day I think I believe them.) Due to our little de-tour we had to drive though a previously un-explored part of Leeds by us and by the looks of things the last 10 years, we managed to spot a little skate park in the distance and since the snow that the weather man had predicted had not started to fall we decided to check it out. As we pulled into the car park we seen that right next to the park was a massive BMX race track with a start gate and everything.

After one lap of the track we decided we were defiantly not fit enough for this racing shit and headed over to the park. Apart from having the biggest and mellowest 1/4 I have ever seen the park offered nothing but massive coping and moldy ramps. Round the edge of the park however were little banks to curvy benches that worked rather well as a sub box, which was nice.

We decided to leave the park as to not push our luck with the weather and possibly get to ride Hyde Park before the rain came. After getting to the rapest hang out that is Hyde park it was still dry and looking promising to my wallet. We bumped into Wood's doppelganger has his mate Bob Scerbo and had a rather good shred bar the constant winging from Mick about he has can't ride and wanted to go home but since it was still dry I wanted to hit up some of Leeds street but after riding the elusive flat bank at the uni my street ideas were over ruled and it was beer o'clock and time for a burger and a pint.

After a trip the best boat based pub since the Tuxedo Royal it was time to head home.

Well wasn't that the worst and half arsed trip report you have ever read. We'll that just how the trip was, slack and unplanned. The BMX way.

Well what do you know more snow! Will this shit never end? Well it did a bit today actually but still. Finlay got a new wheel sorted this week so stunts are back on the agenda. Had a little trip to Seaburn this after noon to get some photos and some footage with Winn Dog. Was very pleasantly surprised to find the place fully dry which was nice so thought I would get a bit footage since I have a week left and not a sausage. But the day had to have some kick in the teeth which came in the form of a flat battery. Anyway tomorrow is my birthday and we are going to go on a little tour around some of the less ridden spots to try and gather some stuff for February's edit. On another note there is a nice new picture at the top of the page done by a very fine designer down in that there London [http://www.rosieupright.blogspot.com] which I am stoked on. She has done a few more for me which will be going up at a later date if all things go as planned. Also gonna get some sticker knocked up soon to. Thank you allot rosie, much appreciated. x

First February Friday Photo.

And guess what it's going to be a double bill. First off will be a new member to WeRideKidsBikes Mr Tall him self Peter Greaves. After a long drive back from London I had a cup or two of tea and get back in the rig for a trip to 5 bridges where we rendezvous with said Tall fellow. Was nice to see the lad was using his head and has some lovely fairy lights on his bike to keep his long body save. After a few laps of the course my driver decided to spew up all its bearings and grind to a halt, so that's me out of action till pay day and I get a new wheel. Bummer. Still managed to get this snap of ex pro basketball star Greaves doing what he does best, unfortunately my photo was having the best of times in the dark of the shadows.

And now for round two. As I said I felt bad for not putting a photo up last week so hear is a treat for you all. The Lad back from his winter vacation in the bar's braved the sub-zero temperatures and the pissing down rain for this gem. Putting on a show for the Internet in his natural habitat the sake park Billy Lad pops the smith to nozza like he was fresh out the kitchen.

Well just as the weekend rocked up guess who popped up to say hello, our old friend Frosty! Just as things started to look up and I might get a weekends worth of riding and filming right at the end of the month everywhere turns white again. And so this months edit, the first edit is abit lacking in stunts however I did find a very apt song and although it doesn't go very well I just had to use it. I shall be away this weekend so there might not be a Friday photo and if there is I will be suprised if it's BMX related however I will try my hardest to get one up if my phone will let me on Saturday.

That time again.

Well it's the last Friday photo of the month so I have gone all tech on you! HA, this is as far as my techness gets. This week has been rather impressive as far as riding. Not only did me and Woods go to Five bridges but the lad him self Mr Dawson made an appearance. Not only that but the day before that said people and Kalv rode some street, that's right, 4 people riding out side together at the same time, first time that has happened this year! Was nice to see people emerging from their winter hiding places and getting back to what they do second best after drinking beer. So that was two days in a row riding for some but for me, three days, oh yes I am just that foolish. The Pidster and myself had a little trip to Silky for the first time this year hoping it would be dry, which it wasn't but we still managed to get some footage which was good as I now only have two days left and not much shit on film. Not that it matter anyway as I have no editing software apart from Movie Makes and that doesn't understand mp4 footage so we are fucked either way. Sure I can come up with something though and get it up next week.
Well here is the last photo of this barren month that has been January, bring on the Spring. Mike feble up and along, smith down.

So we are almost at the end of the first month and I am starting to flap about getting an edit done due to the bad weather. I have a few little clips but nothing major but then again that is not what this is about. This is a fair representation of the BMX going on each month the way I see it and this month had been as dry as Dougys mouth on a Sunday morning. This week surprise surprise has involved Five Bridges, hit up by me and the only one round here who seems to venture out in the cold damp dark the Granddaddy himself, Woods. But here comes the twist we also got to ride some thing called street. You better believe it people, it is out there and it has been rideable at least twice this week. After a short spell at Seaburn park me and the BMX god farther headed over to the Polly and shredded the place up like it was 2000 or some shit. Anyway fingers crossed next week we will have more of the same and people will blow the Christmas dust of the old 20 inches and do some stunting, after all I have 8 days to get about a minute and a half worth of footage for January's edit.

Well the snow may have gone but the bad weather is still looming over us like a bad hangover. The Sky's have been gray and the BMX world even grayer. Had another dodge to the only decent (I use that word very loosely) dry spot for miles, Five Bridges during the week with my man Woods in Das Auto. Although it was bitterly cold we managed a half decent shred despite the wet bank but I still yearn for some proper street.
As today quickly approached and I needed a photo my self and Woods decided we would make some room in his mams garage and have a little session in there and when I say little I mean little. Here is the photo of the week from the man him self Christopher Woods.

The new year is here, the new decade, 2010, two years till the London Olympics and if some are to be believed the end of the world. But we are not interested in all that, we live in the now, the present. Live for today, if you make it to tomorrow then you have won the battle.

Anyway enough with the shit. This blog is here for one purpose and one purpose only, the art of BMX and everything it brings with it.
Every week there will be a new photo and once a month there will be an edit from that months action! As most of you will see January might be a slow month since there is 4 inches of snow all over but stunts will still get done, dedication is the name of the game.
All the filming will be done using a HD handheld Samsung U10 Flip style camera, proper point and shoot. Don't expect a tool box of hammers or fancy art fag style editing, just good honest BMX from anyone and everyone. The aim is to put out a VHS at the end of the year for all the edits remixed will additional footage that I will keep for the main event.
Hope people enjoy this and keep coming back for more. Updates will be regular and I will throw any old rambling shit in here and there.
